James Thomas Edward Clayson (1925 – 1940)

James Thomas Edward Clayson was born in Dover during 1925. He was the son of Thomas Robert Clayson and Jane A Sutton. In 1940, when James was 16, he was living at Rambler Cottage in St. Margaret’s-at-Cliffe in Dover, Kent. James was killed on 15 October 1940 during the air raid on Wrotham Heath at Rhette, a property adjoining Wrotham Heath Place. He died whilst trapped under rubble with Charles Rootsey.
